Due to many different circumstances this nation has faced in it's history... I can find just one EVER.
Off the top of my mind for achievement ... I'll go with a toss up of FDR & Reagan
I like Teddy for his stength and character... damn it, he was larger than life.
I also have to go with a total underdog... Jefferson Davis... for his shear will and determination to deliver the utmost of what made this country great in the first place. He took a chance making a stand that many others probably should have made in history. Bloody civil war aside... it is our right to contest the governing bodies of this nation when we feel they are threatening our freedoms.

Teddy all the way...the man even had a shootin range on the Mall.
The next Teddy should be Nugent!
FDR was a pinko.

FDR was good too. the right man for the times.
Lincoln was way over rated. almost to the point of treason..
Reagan was good, in his first term. something happened though ( Alzheimer's or as a result of the shooting) and things got weird. getting rid of Baker and the other advisers in his second term was disastrous.

I like Ted Nugent, but keep in mind..
he didn't write the songs, play the lead guitar, and that's not his vocals. it's Derek St. Holmes, and when he got pissed and left, Nugent's career was over. :(
